I found some information on viatach.com that says the hyperion drivers only installs the VIA inf driver,IDE filter driver, and AGP driver. I found this info here.

I downloaded the latest hyperion drivers and unzipped them and isolated out these portions and now have them in 3 seperate folder. I just have a question about the VIAGART portion of the Via drivers. Does anyone know if the GART driver is needed with Windows Xp as well(or is GART/AGP the same thing? looking at the 2 inf's im seeing the same Hardware IDS).

Has anyone already posted information on installing via hyperion drivers through OEMPnPDriverPath in the WINNT.SIF during unnatended? I can handle doing this on my own, just need to know if the GART stuff is needed. I couldnt find anything searching, but then again TONS of stuff came up with via drivers as you could imagine.

Thanks in advance,

Blyster

Edit: I was able to rummage through the viatech forums and someone cleared this up over there stating that AGP/GART are essentially the same thing. If anyone has any different information, please let me know.

I would appreciate it if you could elaborate on how & which portions you "isolated" and what folder structure you're using to add them to OemPnPDriversPath & winnt.sif. I also have a MB which uses a VIA chipset but at the moment I'm installing the whole driver package silently (.iss) via RunOnceEx but if it's possible to integrate them into OemPnPDriversPath directly I would rather do it that way.
