Hello all.
Someone from elsewhere in the internet tubes mentioned to me today that Win2k would support 4GB of total RAM in a system only. That included both video and system RAM.
That sounded pretty off base and I have never heard it before.
Is this true? I'm using the /PAE switch now and have 4GB registered with a video card using 512MB of RAM and things seem to be fine. Am I missing something?
Thanks

Video cards have their own GPU/RAM so doesn't count. If it's OnBoard, it usually "uses" part of the RAM as it has none of its own ("shared"). Many MoBo's with OnBoard allow adjustment of the RAM it "steals" from Main RAM.
