When I created my integrated install disk for XP, I cannot see anywhere on the disk the SATA drivers I supposedly included. I can see the SP3 upgrade ok, but not the sata stuff.

Should I be able to see them somewhere?

As you might suppose, my installer does not recognize the HDD in AHCI.

What am I missing??

Welcome to MSFN.

SATA drivers should be integrated in textmode (TXT), i.e. only the one you need. If properly integrated, they should be on the CD in i386\NLDRV\ compressed inside a folder with numbers, e.g. 001. My recommendation is to always integrate SATA drivers first.
Also, make sure SATA/AHCI is enabled in the BIOS settings. BTW, which drivers are we talking about? Did you see http://www.msfn.org/...d-raid-drivers/

Cheers

Post the model or the motherboard of your computer and attach the "last session.ini" so someone can check what you should have done and what you have actually done.

The motherboard is an ASUS P8z77-v lk

If I look in i386\NLDRV\ the drivers are indeed compressed inside a folder with numbers, e.g. 001, but when I attempt to install with bios set to ahci, I get the bsod

Attached is the Last session ini

Last Session.ini seems fine.

I suggest you post here http://www.msfn.org/...d-raid-drivers/ with your problem, and Fernando will recommend which drivers to use. It will probably be these http://win-lite.de/b....1006%20WHQL.7z (in his first post), but better be on the safe side.
For anyone interested, this is the link to the motherboard http://www.asus.com/...7V_LK/#download
Unless there is some other glitch which I'm not seeing, you will have to recreate a CD which will work.

Cheers
