Hi every 1

My OS is Vista sp/2 x86
I have a problem with running Battlefield 3
the error is about Dxgi.dll

the procedure entry point createDXGIFactory1 could not be located in the dynamic link library dxgi.dll


i have the dxgi.dll in C/ Windows/System32 and it is not missing.so the problem is something else.my graphic cards driver and dirextX are update.
I read somewere there is an update to fix this problem(dxgifactory v2 i think )
i can easily move to windows 7 or even 8 but vista is something else(my opinion)

First of all, welcome to MSFN.

Second, this is the wrong place to post this question. Please bear that in mind next time.

Have you tried Google search? My search states (I don't know how reputable the sites are, so I'm not posting them) that you should copy dxgi.dll into the Battlefield3 Program folder, namely C:\program files\ea games\... I'm sure you'll manage. Even if it doesn't work, it's not harmful and you've got nothing to lose (you can always delete it).
