yesterday msfn was down. Was it because of the missing money for this month?

Haha, that would be one way to encourage more donations:

"Our expected costs for this month are X. Any shortfall will be made up for by turning off the lights by the percentage of the deficit, i.e. if we receive 90% of the goal, then MSFN will be down for 3 days this month."

There was a hardware problem with the server.

We also have a status/check-in place for when the forum is down:

xper,

Did you make any changes that could have affected e-mail notifications? Once again I did not receive any today (and there were at least three new posts in subscribed threads, which were waiting for me under that bell at the top of the MSFN page).

Only to confirm that another user had the same issue, see here:

http://www.msfn.org/...-2#entry1085470

http://www.msfn.org/...ages/?p=1085474

so it is not the specific ignoreJorgeA=true ;) setting in the configuration file.

That's strange because I get all notifications. Does notifications works now?

I need someone who replies to my Guides (Win7/8 boot trace, DPC). The replies from yesterday haven't triggered notification.

Yeah, something strange was going on. Last night I submitted a PM and the next screen gave some kind of SQL error (not one that I had seen before).

Fortunately, the PM did get through, but for a moment there I thought that I'd lost what I had written. Guess I'll have to go back to pressing Ctrl-A, Ctrl-C every time before posting, to make sure that I can reconstruct the post if it gets lost.
