I am using 64-bit version, and there is a problem. I want to change watermark text on desktop (right, down corner of screen). It is possible by changing user32.dll.mui in resource editor. I edited 32 and 64-bit file in WOW64 and System32 folder, but text on screen is same. Nothing changed... I replaced backups in C:\Windows\winsxs because it may use system file from backup, but nothing. How can I successfully apply modified system files on 64-bit Windows OS?

So you want to change the Watermark
One might ask... did you EVER use a REAL Legitimate Product Key (YOUR key when you PURCHASED Win7) and ACTIVATE it? Evaluation Keys will not make it Permanent/Activated. Why in the world would you want to hack your OS otherwise? The indication is that you have an Evaluation (Time-Bombed) Version and not a Retail Version.

So, yours is Activated and has this exact watermark
I understand you want "change it". The QUESTION is WHY it shows the watermark as "Evaluation" in the FIRST place.
"Build 7600" = no update to "Windows 7 Service Pack 1 RTM Build 7601.17514.101119-1850"?
Here's the point - a WATERMARK shouldn't even EXIST! And you shouldn't even be able to ACTIVATE an "Evaluation" version. The ONLY way you can activate an Evaluation version (which is ENTERPRISE) is via a MAK key (ENTERPRISE) - see this -
http://social.techne...a9-a6335ad52b26
So...
1 - You have Windows 7 Enterprise Evaluation Installed
2 - You obtained a MAK (or maybe a KMS key and it's Activated
3 - You STILL have the "Evaluation" watermark
How odd!!!

Hey, it's yours so it's on your head...
http://operating-sys...termark-363408/
BTW, above video shows it does work. And it's also displaying the "en-US" folder - Doing the right one?
Still is it displaying the Original "Genuine" or is it displaying "Evaluation"? As I said - wondering.
