Hi.

I was searching hard for Internet Explorer 8 and Wmp11 to integrate with nlite, fortunately I've found Onepiece's Addons quit well. but I'm only able to integrate as hotfixes, I need them to be Installed with RunOnceEx, together with my other applications, is there any way to make a whole lot of files toa standalone exe or msi? I've tried different methods but no luck

Add-Ons are for Integration as Hotfix only. That's why they are CALLED Add-Ons.

You need the Full File Downloads.

Go here to find IE8. Also listed are all of the Hotfixes -
http://xdot.tk/updates.html

For WMP11, take a look at the Thread where you found it to get the List Of Hotfixes Included and -
1 - Go to MS and download WMP11 Install File
2 - Find at MS all KB numbers listed in the Thread and download
http://www.ryanvm.ne...opic.php?t=6442

Now go BACK to your First Topic as a reference and just "do it" -
www.msfn.org/board/topic/161836-runonce-help/

BTW, for WMP11 the OS is SUPPOSED to be Activated+Genuine so there's a couple of OTHER MS Install Files needed to even satisfy the requirement. See this -
http://www.tech-reci...ing_bypass_wga/
WMP11 is a bit "trickier".

Bear in mind you will ALSO need all of the Silent Install parameters for all of the files to be installed.

Edit - Forgot to mention IE8 installed this way REQUIRES Reboot before IE8 Hotfixes can be applied and then ANOTHER Reboot. ;)

("Bump" indeed...)

Just curious -- Why? As submix8c explained. They are really not usually intended to be installed that way. What is the issue with installing them as addons?

Cheers and Regards
