So, this is yours?
http://www.softoxi.c...tml-editor.html
http://www.softpedia...ML-Editor.shtml
And this is yours too?
http://www.softpedia...pson-62835.html
And this is you (Benjamin Simpson)? (nope - Wordpress has gone bye-bye)
Older version on RyanVM?
http://www.ryanvm.ne...4f7c5068c47231c
Neowin also -
http://www.neowin.ne...neowin-edition/

So, what you're saying is that you have Themed the version found here?
http://limemaster92....tml-editor-net/
http://www.benjamin-simpson.co.nr/

Could you elaborate, Benjamin? Perhaps list MSFN-specific "Features" and Screenshots?

Found by google
"codeit html editor"

Almost seems "spammy", but I can't see where it crosses any MSFN Rules lines.

Yes although I only submit my to Softpedia However other sites may distribute the software if they want
And this is you (Benjamin Simpson)? (nope - Wordpress has gone bye-bye)
The domain expired so the site was relocated to Link removerd
Older version on RyanVM?
http://www.ryanvm.ne...4f7c5068c47231c
Never seen that site before
Neowin also -
http://www.neowin.ne...neowin-edition/
Yeah I was hoping for feedback but none was given

http://limemaster92....tml-editor-net/
The themed version is only available on this forum

Could you elaborate, Benjamin? Perhaps list MSFN-specific "Features" and Screenshots?

Eh well I did have an account on this site a few years ago but it seems to have been deleted :(
Also I'm sorry if this seems spammy I just thought that the software hangout was to show off software creations

OK there is not much new features but heres a list anyway
* Removes Advertisements
* Themed contains references to MSFN
* Minor bug fixes

Edit: Added additional comments which should be in bold

You might wait for any testers/comments. If I get around to it I might. There ARE others here that do website stuff (I have a minimal personal one).

You might put a Topic(s) also in the -
http://www.msfn.org/...hp-asp-xml-etc/
http://www.msfn.org/...tes-and-boards/
BUT you might contact an Administrator, Moderator, or Developer to see if its appropriate since it is a "tool". Look at the bottom of the main Board page and simply click on any of those (color-coded) and ask.

Otherwise, sit tight and see if it gets noticed. You probably have a better chance of it being seen here as to Neowin. I believe the oldies here are more "geekie". :w00t:

As far as "spammy", it's all good AFAICT. You might also read the rules to acquaint yourself with them (link at top of every page).

As long as you software (noting you have other) is "free" and you make no attempt to "sell" a product, service, etc, you're fine ALTHOUGH you may discuss it but do NOT attempt promotions (search for posts by member "rloew" as examples). We are quite strict about our rules. ;)

Welcome to MSFN! And I hope that we can help you out in any of your endeavors (we have a few coders here too).

Ow! Forum Rule 2.e....

OK, so contribute in a more acceptable way! No big deal... FWIW, I linked to the website for the "non-Themed" version.

Hmmm... Picture Attachment says the "ads" were removed. As I said, contribute (maybe with coding snippets/assistance?) so maybe MSFN will get that "exclusive" version.

This must be removed. This program is not sanctioned or supported by any of the staff members, nor the owner of MSFN. Branding it as such is a form of impersonation and this is a greater violation than the already pointed out Rule 2e.

AHA!!!! I see! Explains a little about some "other" topics.

Still, it would be nice to have a version without advertisements. :(

I have requested the topic to be removed from one of the Super Moderators through PM but they went offline shortly after and so they probably haven't got the message yet

Again sorry for breaking the rules :(

The only thing was the Rule#2.e (see post#10). The links to the non-MSFN-specific one are still in my post above, which just represents a FREE tool that MAY be of use to someone (not against the rules) as long as you abide by the rule of NOT trying to promote a Commercial ($$$) Offering. You have already removed the Attachment/Direct Link to the MSFN-specific one (voluntarily)... I may be wrong, but the Post #10 (simply put) says that "this is not MSFN stuff".

You could (shakily) construe this Topic as a "contribution" of a potentially useful Tool (sans direct link to the File or as an attachment). The link to the Website and this Topic will undoubtedly remain. As you have not been "banned" I might assume that you are OK here. ;)

Still, too bad your program has "branding" and Adverts. May be worth using though nonetheless, kind of like the "older" Flashget (Adverts-box).

Again, Welcome to MSFN and enjoy your stay (abiding by the Rules, of course)!

The topic probably still needs to be removed as the rule states you must contribute to the forums first before you can post your own creations

Thanks for the welcome & I hope I get to stay in this community

(Note to self: Read the rules more than once so this problem does not occur again)

Rule #2.e was pointed out. You removed the attachment. I put the link there (I'm allowed). Thanks for pointing out the Tool Name (of which I found the link to).

You're welcome. ;)

I suppose that makes it kind of OK
