98/XP Dual boot format question Rate Topic: -----

ok ive got dual boot 98 (C:) and XP Pro (E:) and i need to format the xp drive and reload...i know that xp puts the boot.ini on its drive..so can i just format and reload and still have my dual boot screen..or do i need to do anything special?

boot.ini stays on C: so its safe to boot from your XP CD from BIOS, quick format your E: drive via XP Setup, and then install.

By 'reload' I assume you mean clean install/re-install?
