Hmmm.
I think I'll be redoing the file/dir ops plugins for 1.1.0.
It think it'd probably be better to have it the same plugin, and it figures out whether things are files or directories or whatnot.
This could be as far away as the weekend after next though, so I'd suggest getting the old plugin from the 1.00 release, or whatever Shotgun suggested.
http://xplode.voidfx.com/ and click the download archive link in the sidebar. It's in the OLD folder.
EDIT:
Seems the MySQL socket isn't connecting. Works fine from home. Weird.

I retested some more and did not experience any problem deleting files/directories. I believe the problem may also be due to the fact that I'm using VMware. Sometimes it just breezes thru the installation, other times it takes over 30 minutes to install (windows 2000 SP4).
So far, xplode is performing like a champ (with the 1.00 plugins), so I'm concentrating on the finer details of my unattended CD: registry settings, moving/deleting shortcuts, setting file/dir permissions, and so on. I'm about 80% done with my CD, so when I finally finish I'll try to post a website or some guide on what I did so others can follow (or "upgrade") my steps.
BTW: I miss the rotating "thingie" in xplode 1.02, How do I get that back?

You can't. I removed it because it screwed with the transparency in GUI-install mode.
I'll be adding the ability to insert animations when I overhaul the drawing routines.
Hopefully it'll allow "freeform" skinning by that time.

Try the new FS ops plugin. See if it helps any.
Syntax:
Post bugs etc. on bugtracker.
Note: this plugin WILL be included with 1.0.3 - so when I release that, you should use the one in the zip file for 1.0.3. The one attached will be superceded by then.
Syntax:
<copy source='%SOURCEPATH%\I386' target='%SYSTEMDRIVE%\I386' mask='*.ac_' /> <copy source='%SOURCEPATH%\I386\sp1.cab' target='%SYSTEMDRIVE%\I386\sp1.cab' /> <move source='%SYSTEMDRIVE%\I386\' target='%SYSTEMDRIVE%\I586' /> <move source='%SYSTEMDRIVE%\I586\sp1.cab' target='%SYSTEMDRIVE%\I586\sp2.cab' /> <delete source='%SYSTEMDRIVE%\I586' mask='m*.ac_' /> <delete source='%SYSTEMDRIVE%\I586\sp2.cab' /> <delete source='%SYSTEMDRIVE%\I586' />

File System.
Actually, it's an Athlon64, but I was just quickly changing dir names.
