after a bit of reading there appears to be 2 different types of apps
metro apps and desktop apps.
where do you find the desktop apps? whats the difference between them?
eg twitter metro vs twitter deskop
why are they called desktop apps and not just a "program" like normal desktop programs?

desktop apps are the normal Desktop programs you run the last years.

The new Windows Store Apps run in fullscreen, can be only installed from the Store and are touch focused.

I play SushiChop most of the time when I turn to Start Screen! And there are some books to read there too.
