UURollup v10d breaks MAME

2 posts in this topic

I had installed unofficial sp5.1, update rollup2, and UUrollup v10d. Then I discovered recent versions of MAME are unusable, as they will not respond to keyboard input.

Old versions .99 and .106 worked as usual. But .120, .142, and shmupmame 2.2 did not work.

Uninstalling UURollup fixed the problem.

And .117 and previous version works but .118 does not work

It seems rawinput devices direct input compatibility problem.

You can use it following way.

* download kdw from http://www7.atwiki.jp/win2000/pages/17.html

* user kdllinst and Check EZ KD Registry.

* reboot your PC.

* Create Mame32.exe.local(0 byte file) in mame folder

* Copy older user32.dll to mame folder.

* if your dinput.dll's version uppper 5.1.2600.1000 then copy older one int mame folder
