*** Simple Muti-Series Line Graph ***

Recommended Posts

Goal: produce a line graph with these conditions

* multiple lines (series) of K

** going across the graph using X data (horizontal axis)

*** by Y (vertical axis)

i don't know what to look for. the information out there is a mess, and it's hard to separate the garbage from the quality, so i really really prefer a link to a guide/article/video. if you could link that, it would be great

there are many ways to do this, but is the best way?

Excel 2010 ?

I thought you were about Office 2013 (and a broken one ;)) .

This is related to Excel 2013:

But the principles are the same.

A series suitable for an XY "scatter" chart needs to be made out of both X and Y values.

Normally you have a "same" interval for the X values and one interval of Y values for each series, but nothing prevents you for having "single" X and Y intervals for each one of the series.
