Howdy,

How can I find out what my MTU value is set to in XP Home?

I have a cable / broadband / normal router configuration.

Thanks / Treeman

Its 1500 by default.

You can find out by using a tool called DrTCP. Its available from a DSL site, which name I've forgotten.

Cablenut is a nice program as well as it allows quite a bit more adjusting than what DrTcp does. http://www.student.ipfw.edu/~gottjl01/ It also has many custom settings that you can use according to your operating system and internet connection.
