Just letting you people know, I'm going to be redoing the website. Again.
It's a real pain in the a** to have them all as seperate HTML pages, so I'm going to be putting it all into a database.

This will help plugin coders too, because I may allow them to add their own plugins, allowing them to upload their own, as well as inserting their own documentation.
It'll probably take most of the weekend, so don't expect any XPlode releases.
If I get bored tho, I'll probably finish up the multi-disc plugin.

As a sidenote, I've set up PayPal... for those who seemed quite keen on making a donation.. :)
PM me if you want to make a donation, otherwise, wiat for the site redesign...
(Just out of interest, do you NEED a credit card asssigned to send and recieve stuff, or will it just work up to the limit?)

The site is currently under development.... but it's already up at the actual XPlode website, at http://xplode.voidfx.com/

Thoughts? (Yes I know it's REALLY early, but I want to know if people would find certain things useful on the site)

I like it.

Only "bug" i can think of so far is that the main table is not centered, i don't know if you even want it centered but the greater the resolution, greater the white hole on the right :)

(you can put table width to adapt, maybe 90% of the screen.)

Table width is set to it purposely... looks stupid when it's at 100% on my screen - at the moment there's as much of a white block as there is text, so...

Centred seems a good idea. :)

Wow...The new site looks really nice. Well done Wraith!

I have also found a "bug" on the site. It's actually more of an improvement that could be made. It's at this page.

Please look at these screenshots, and you will see what I mean:

Improved Page

Just let me know what you think! :)

That's quite weird... they turn out fine on my screen.

Ho hum, looks like some more testing is needed :)

btw, I forgot to say. My resolution is 1024x768, just incase that helps with debugging.

I am more than willing to help you tessting the site. I also have a good knowledge of HTML and some PHP knowledge. Would you appreciate the help? :)

EDIT: Just checked the site and it's fixed now. Thanks Wraith!

Hehe... good to hear.

Nah, no help needed really, it's fairly simple, just a PHP/MySQL backend supplying the data.

It's almost finished. Just need the plugins page, and the administration interface needs cleaning up.

Then the "fun" part. Documentation.

*dies*

Actually, it shouldn't be too bad, I just have to figure out which fields I need in the DB. Rest should be fairly simple.

Hello!

Wraith, it's doing it again. There's the gap between the menu on the left and the main body. It's doing it on all the pages, except for "Home", but there the body table is narrower than the top "header" bar.

If you don't understand what I am talking about, just replay and I will post some screenshots

Sorry about the double post. :)

I don't know if you are going to code the documentation system yourself or if you plan on using a pre-made script. If you haven't decided here is a list of a few PHP/mySQL documentation scripts that are free and you could use:Hope that saves you time, if you were planning on using a pre-made script but had not seen any yet.

Nup, coding them myself. They have to be linked to the site as it is now, so I figure it'd be easier my way.

Don't know about the sizing tho, everything seems perfect for me... very weird.

EDIT:

Oh, right. Internet Explorer sucks.

Firefox all the way :)

I'll see what I can do.

Excellent. It's all fixed now. Thanks Wraith.

btw, I'm using the IE core, but the browser I use is Avant Browser. I think it's better than Firefox. :)
