Hey guy & gal,
I have a Unattended install XP disk that I created by following the instruction and advice fom this saite. And I appreciate all the help. I just came accross an error that I was hoping someone has a work around.
Installing on a unformatted drive with my WinXP sp1a unattended CD
On the first Blue screen section I hit F6 due to this MB's promise drivers. Always had to load them manualy. It asks me for the floppy and then lets me select the right drivers to install. It sees the controller and drive and continues with setting up the partitions and then formatting the drive. Shortly after it starts Windows and try to finish loading the drivers and it need the remaining files for windows to see the promise controller correctly. This is where it fails. Its almost like it can not see the floppy drive anylonger. The light comes on but the copying of the drivers fail everytime.
Anyone else have this issue? I did a quick search on the forum but it came back empty.
Your help is greatly appreciated.
