I just slipstreamed the current service pack to an already post service pack two office cd. Just wondering what size this should be mine is approx 624mb & only appeared to be about 4mb larger than the source?

Well it only replaces files that have bugs or security flaws, it doesn't add features, so there is little or no significant size increase.
My SP3 slipstream was made on a clean Administrative Point:
Admin Point: 623 MB (653,520,534 bytes)
Admin Point after slipstreaming SP3: 620 MB (650,272,177 bytes)
