try to make .exe (with the methode) of another software (not office)
=>take a software
=>make a setup.cmd
...
and then make the .exe with the 7zip method
and see if the .exe you get works

the proper order is
Clean Install XP + NetFrameWork 1.1 + Office Shrink (buckeye) + 7zip
When u install your RunonceEx.cmd or Wpi
Install NetFrameWork First, then Office 2003 Buckeye + 7zip

the author of office shrink (buckeye) has also said to use a CLEAN install.
my guide to making a office 7zip was a huge success. almost 4000 downloads
for my pdf guide.
i have first hand knowledge on how to troubleshoot this issue.

After copying the standard installation files, office shrinker came up with the error code displayed in your screenshot. I tried serveral things in changing the shrinker.ini file, but the error code appeared over and over again.
Then i changed to a VMWare machine with Windows XP Pro SP2 english version. I used the same Office 2003 Pro files, with SP1.
I did notice that under the english version, the retry button was translated into 'Opnieuw', instead of 'Nogmaals' in the Dutch windows XP. I checked the shrinker.ini file, changed
retry = &nogmaalsinto
retry = &Opnieuwand was able to succesfully shrink Office 2003 professional SP1 Dutch.
Hope it will work at your virtual machine.

@BuckeyXP perhaps you can update the Shrinker with this fix for the Dutch Office?
it works! Thanks a lot... but after a while, the script seems to pause or something... get an error from Office setup: "Error 1308, can't find file..." my laptop starts running at topspeed and nothing...happens..
Then I found out this only happens with a few files, all in the same dir:
D:\PostInstall\Applications\Office\FILES\PFILES\MSFT.NET\PIAS
So I quit the Shrinker,
deleted the contents of the destination folder C:\OFFICE, then copied this folder ("PIAS") to the correct subfolders in its destination C:\OFFICE:
C:\office\FILES\PFILES\MSFT.NET\PIAS
ran the Shrinker again and... it finished succesfully!

Then I followed the guide of yoyo92 (post 439), and it works fine now.
BTW when you install 7zip newest version, you wont get 7zS.exe
But you don't have to install v3.13!
You should download "Extra modules: 7z Library, Plugin for FAR, SFXs for installers" wich is the 3rd downloadlink in the second table on the Downloads page of www.7-zip.org
direct link: http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/sevenzi...0_extra.tar.bz2
you can open this with Winrar and extract 7zS.exe from it.

I slipstreamed, made admin install point and shrinked my office 2003 but thing is that it doesnt work 100%. When i try to install it with WPI the installer starts, but after some time the progress bar goes back and install is aborted. BUT when i restart my computer it installs fine. So basically one restart is needed from first logon. Anyone knows what the problem may be?
-edit-
I made my shrinked office in Virtual machine on my winXP Pro SP2 (modded with nlite).
Just tried to install it to win witch isnt modded with nlite and it still doesnt install. In fact it doest even install after restart
-edit2-
Ok, i removed "qb-" and thing was, that installer did not wind some of the files. I'm tring to built shrinked office again in clean instelled windows...
-edit3-
Shrinked it again but still it didnt find some of the files when i tried to install it on newly installed windows. But i managed to fix the problem by manually copy'ing the missing files to installation directory later.

i tried the shrinkage tool several times now, but i canīt get a good shrinked source of Office 2003.
I used it on clean nLited WinXP Pro SP2 machines.
When i try to install Office 2003 from the shrinked source the installer starts, but after some time the progress bar goes back and the install is aborted.
It seems other people have the same problem too.
Maybe someone can check the attached logfiles in the archive below and/or give the solution to this problem?

I've followed the guide but then?!
I have done the office config wizard and i have a mst file.
1: If I start office shrink on a clean machine I get error's because of files don't exist in the target folder (only option is retry/cancel) and office shrink is paused.
2: When I install office first and than do office shrink it tells me office is allready shrinked (and copy's the serupfiles to the target folder).
I don't know what to do. Did I do something wrong? I can't imagen that 2 is right. If I copy the files as a new setup source it will miss file which are stored in the common file map.
Anybody can help me?

Why do you have to use a clean install to run the script? In the guide, they don't say a word about a clean OS. I know you can make an administrative install (or something) without a clean OS.
