i have diffculity tweaking the xp password.
i am trying to find the system folder and files where xp store's the password.
can anyone helps me ?

encrypted in SAM file in
C:\windows\system32\config

What exactly are you trying to do? Modifying the SAM file may corrupt it and not let you login anymore...

If you are trying to reset a forgotten password, use the Offline NT Password and Registry Editor (check Google for it)...
