dosnet.inf in windows 2003 server? Rate Topic: -----

I'm following the instructions from http://unattended.ms...allhotfixes.htm to slipstream hotfixes into my unattended install. however the step for modifying dosnet.inf has me confused. i hadn't noticed until now, but it doesn't appear this file exists. is there an alternate file, or do i just create my own for adding the

[OptionalSrcDirs]

additional note that shouldn't matter. the CD im using to install the OS to the system is a 2003 server OPK cd (modified to work with an adaptec u320 scsi controller configured for host raid) and im using the factory -winpe mode

dosnet.inf is only used during setup from windows... maybe your cd only supports installaing from cd boot... if so don't bother about dosnet.inf, its not needed for cd oot install
