AnX
Unlike my friend, who got the necessary hotfixes for his FX-8350 processor in Vista update, I haven't gotten the proper updates. So, my question is, why do these updates not show up, or take effect on my system?I had done all the required procedures, and he got the hotfix, and I'm still stuck without one. Any suggestions? bphlpt
If you know the particular KB number involved for the hotfix, why don't you just download it directly and try to install it?Cheers and Regards

Jody Thornton
Were you able to find the Hotfix? Here are links to two hotfixes that may apply:http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2646060http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2645594I wonder if you just need to update Device Manager. Maybe check these links:http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1732022http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1770061/8350-cpu-drivers.html#. Any suggestions?I know for some systems certain hot-fixes aren't necessary like my Posready 2009 machine and my Vista Enterprise 64 bit computer, also not sure if reading it right but if are you having trouble installing the hotfixes? If so use 7 zip to or an extractor to get msu file then try it.
AnX
Turns out I don't even need the FX hotfix, all i have to do is disable C&Q in BIOS so performance drops don't occur.
