Recently, when I try to run a scan, I receive a box which reads ""An unexpected problem occurred during your scan. Please click OK to go back to the Home Page and then try ...again." This error occurs when I want to start a scan. The scan never initiates. Another thing I noticed -- When I go into McAfee and try to set Real Time Scanning to "On", I can do that but the next time I go into McAfee it is "Off" again. sonny_a Posted July 30, 2015 Share Posted July 30, 2015 (edited) I have Vista Ultimate SP2 with McAfee AntiVirus Plus and it is working fine. Can you go to event viewer and show me the error?
