Hello, yes I am new here but on MSTest's topics, the posts don't show now. Why is that, and is there a fix for it, or can you please fix it mods or admins? I am talking about these topics:

http://www.msfn.org/...-longhorn-4051/

http://www.msfn.org/...-setup-succeed/

http://www.msfn.org/...tup-user-guide/

Even from another user appears to be the same thing:

http://www.msfn.org/...1766-hivefiles/

http://www.msfn.org/...p-version-2004/

Just search for MSTest's posts. You will see what I mean.

I don't know for sure, but it could possibly be related to the fact that all those threads you referenced were created OVER ELEVEN YEARS AGO.  Such old threads, especially if any links involved are now dead, are sometimes deleted during board maintenance, though if the info included was still useful I would hope such threads would be preserved for historical purposes.  Hopefully a mod will provide clarification on this.

Cheers and Regards

Actually there is AFAIK no "intentional" deleting, BUT the stupid board software, at each stupid update, manages *somehow* to "botch" part of the contents, one way or the other. :(

Usually when this happens someone notices it in a shor ttime and Xper manages to "make a miracle" :) and fix the issue, it is likely that since those posts were old/not much popular the specific "botching" went unnoticed.

One can try looking on the Wayback Machine, BUT using the "old" board syntax, you may make use of my "converter" (in my signature)

Example:

the link:

hxxp://www.msfn.org/board/topic/11524-repacked-and-unattended-longhorn-4051/

is actually the senseless "friendly name" in one of the late versions, as a matter of fact this:

hxxp://www.msfn.org/board/topic/11524-

resolves exactly the same, and it is supposed to be the "smart" format for the "traditional":

hxxp://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=11524

Obviously YMMGV, however (still this example) is actually found:

https://web.archive....showtopic=11524

Spoiler

This phenomenon is not limited to topics from 2004.

Thanks for pointing this out.
