mike13
I just downloaded and installed Windows 10 build #10158 to my test computer. All went well as far as I can tell. However when I place the mouse over the battery icon down on the taskbar, I get this popup "96% available, plugged in, (not charging)" I doubt Windows 10 has anything to do with this, but before I contact the person that I bought the battery from, I just wanted to make sure. The battery is about 6 months old. It is for Dell Inspiron. There is a light on the charging unit, that is glowing green. That usually means it is charging ?? I never noticed this before. Is there a way to check to see if the charger is really working , or could build 10158 caused this ?? Thanks, Mike
mike13
Update----I pulled the charger plug from the computer, and let it discharge down to 90%. Then I plugged the cord back in, and it charged to 100%. So all is good. Not sure if it was Windows 10, (I doubt it), but all is good now.
