Features needed for next version of XPlode Speak up now... you only have a week!

What this means, essentially, is that I'll have 10x more time to add/fix stuff in XPlode.
SO... you people have 3 days to think up what you need.
One thing planned is the optional redrawing of the XPlode GUI-install background.
Lucky thing for you lot, I still have the code lying around for it, so it won't be too much of a problem to reimplement.
As I've been busy for the last couple of weeks, you people are going to have to remind me of what else needed doing.
I'll add a poll soon of what I remember needs doing.

thank you for these chance!!!
GUI Options, like Weight and Height of used Images, a CHM Help with explain to progress bar. (Doesn't work under Version 1.0.5)
A Network Configurator, maybe with the Windows Built In Command "Netsh".
If you can use 3rd party DLLS, please built in AutoIt V2, it would be great to use AutoIt inside from XPLode.
Finally, your XPLode is great. I love it.
P.S.: I have problems with the XML File Format, I can use only Notepad for editing. When I use an Editor like Textpad, I can't save in the correct format, every time my XML-File is broken. What Do I wrong?

If I have my way, ALL documentation will be working at the end of THIS week.
I don't know about the netsh stuff, maybe you could find a list of things, and see whether they run mid-install. (Shift+F10 to get a command prompt during installation - try them there as some things may not work...)
As for the AutoIt stuff, I've never used it before... looking at the introduction, there's a way to make them into executables, so maybe that would be easier. As far as using the DLL, it would probably be more like adding a plugin rather than building support into XPlode natively. (this cuts down the internal complexity)
The netsh would probably be best implemented as a plugin as well.
The XML has to be in unicode. Any program that supports unicode text files should be able to be used with the xml's XPlode uses.

Have you seen on the AutoIt Site, that there is allready a ready DLL for this?

I read this at your documentation and in the forum, but when I try to save in unicode, the xml won't work! I dunno why!
What Programming is XPLode, is it C-Code?

Yes, I saw the DLL, but you'd still need to link it through another plugin.
I'm not going to put it straight into XPlode.
You have to be using 1.0.5? for unicode to work.
If it's still not working, and you're sure it's in unicode, attach the XML here.
It's C++.

Well, I say my answer is "none of the above"
All the above things are being done anyway by us (or not needed).
Just fix-up the "fixmain" param please..........
All else is fine.
Basically, in GUIinst mode it should not need the fix main - it should fill the entire Y-coordinate of the screen aotomatically (let X-coordinate stay configurable).
Thanks for all your attention towards XPlode (been using this since XPinstall 0.01).

have you tried using the /log: option? If it says your XML files still isn't Unicode, try opening it in Internet Explorer or another XML viewer.
I had that problem once, and I forgot to close a tag, but XPlode said it wasn't saved as Unicode.
oooh oooh! I know of another option, SP2 compatibility

You're going to have to explain a bit better than that
Can't you just use <show total='-1'> ?
@Alanoll:
Shh. Only when SP2 is released.

it should draw the ENTIRE vertical length of the screen, while the width of it is editable

If you people can live with that, I'll add optional support for popping up another dialog before the main XPlode one.
Should hopefully be a couple of hours to do this way, if I did it with the XPlode UI, it'd take a heck of a long time, which was why I was avoiding it.
So, if ppl are happy with it, I'll do it that way... I'll be back home in 6 or so hours after my last class at uni, so that's when I plan to start coding.
You people decide.

Didn't it take 2-3 times as long in Gui Transparent (full screen) mode as the normal (small box)?
