Guest
authroots.sst and updroots.sst were updated by Microsoft on 2016/01/22, released today. This is part of Microsoft's effort to tighten the participant requirements for their Trusted Root Certificate Program. Those using heinoganda's Cert_Updater.exe should run it ASAP. Others needing a redistributable RootsUpd.exe should follow his instructions for creating their own, or PM me for an updated EXE file. niko32
Today I've been a little lazy to manually update root and revoked certificates, so I've decided to try heinoganda's Cert_Updater.exe, and all I got is this message in command prompt:MODE is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or a batch file.Does anyone knows why is this happening? dencorso
Redownload and try again. Run it by double-clicking on its nam on explorer. Then let us know how it went, OK?
niko32
That's not that case here, but I've done it anyway just to rule out that small possibility. Strange symptoms are that every first run of Cert_Updater.exe and press Yes, it just close itself, only on second run and press Yes, it opens previously mentioned command prompt window. And it's every time like that. I'll investigate more about it, when time allows, and post here. Any idea is welcome. Thanks Edited February 16, 2016 by niko32
