Latest Trusted Root Certificates Updates

Monroe

Recommended Posts

I haven't seen any talk lately of Trusted and Untrusted Root Certificates. The last updates I have are from 5eraph dated 04-26-2016. Have any newer ones been released? I'm not sure exactly where they are mentioned anymore ... I know the topic was moved somewhere. There seemed to be updates every few days for awhile but I have seen nothing since April.

5eraph ... thanks for the information. I guess I'm up to date ... just thought it was strange that no updates since April.

For awhile before that last April update, it seems I was sending you a PM for a new download every few days or week.

Glad that has stopped.

Off topic:  The forum's post linking code is borked again.  None of my links work anymore except for the one in this thread.

I'm annoyed by that, too! There seems to be no rhyme nor reason for it, yet:
It seems that this kind of link does not work anymore:

http://www.msfn.org/board/topic/0-/?do=findComment&comment=1128833

but this one:

http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=0&view=findpost&p=1128833

still does work (till when?). Go figure!

Truncated board/topic subdirectory names must now have at least one character after the dash.
http://www.msfn.org/board/topic/175991-latest still works but
http://www.msfn.org/board/topic/175991- doesn't anymore.
(http://www.msfn.org/board/topic/175991 never did.)

The character after the dash doesn't have to be valid, so
http://www.msfn.org/board/topic/175991-- works, and so does:
http://www.msfn.org/board/topic/0--/?do=findComment&comment=1128833 and
http://www.msfn.org/board/topic/0-0/?do=findComment&comment=1128833 :-)

note: Anchor (a) and Teletype (tt) HTML tags used manually in this post.

For the record the "native" link format is (and has always been) of the kind:
http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=175991

(just in case).

If anyone wants to update/extend my board link converter (or rewrite a properly written, better one) he/she would be welcome, right now it manages the topics, but not those direct links to posts.
