Tripredacus Posted December 28, 2016 Share Posted December 28, 2016 The actual safest is to not have a network connection, but if you want one, a whitelist only firewall approach is the best. That being whitelist in both directions, out and in, including "standard" ports that firewalls like to leave open like those for email and FTP. Most firewalls do a fine job of stopping stuff from coming in, but fail to safeguard against the biggest threat... the user. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
