Hello,
im trying to find 3C2000-T Gigabit NIC Win98 driver, i tried few drivers from Drivers Guide, but everytime i point system to INF files list of adapters is empty, i tried to install 3com drivers package, but without success, in Windows XP and 7 card is working fine.

Best Installation package - 2000_cd_10.exe, which looking promising, others which i have found had only XP+ and Win2k drivers..

I attached INFS file from package, which is looking most promising, but this is not working.

Well, that's weird, the INF file you posted, should have worked.

Try these drivers:

3Com940.zip

These DO have the same exact hardware ID as you've posted.

Can you try WinME?

Do you install via Add New Hardware, or Device Manager? You should install via Device Manager pointing to a Ethernet Controller with a yellow question mark.

If nothing works still, I can try editing the INF to remove any useless information, however this should not be necessary, as 98SE ignores the useless data in INF file regardless.
