After creating the DVD using the guide, I get "Please insert Windows XP Service Pack 1 into Drive A:" when using the "loader.bin", but after changing to boot image to "pro1.dat" it works fine.

What is wrong?

you do not have the Windows XP identifier files at the root of your image.

Win51, Win51IP, Win51IP.SP1 if you have professional. They are the files that were at the root of your Window XP CD, along with the one created by the ServicePack integration.
