I installed Zonealarm not 40 minutes ago and twice it did a memory dump. Said that certain files were locked. I don't know what to do, maybe it was a bad copy or something... Anyone heard of this before??

grab the latest version of zonealarm and please post system specs and what programs you have running when zonealarm crashes as it could be a conflict, if not does the system lockup during other programs as it could be memory.

1.5 GHZ Celeron
512 MB RAM
60 Gig

The Blue screen happens at startup, with no programs open. Only the processes working in the background...

can you start the computer in safe mode and run msconfig (start > run and type in msconfig) click on startup and disable zonealarm or post a screenshot of what is listed and i will tell you what to remove it could be a conflict.

what processes are running when the computer starts?
