How do I copy a 700.81 MB DIVX.avi file to a 700 MB CD using NERO 3.8?

Thanks

disc at once, thanks.

I don't know. I am using a P2P client if that has anything to do with it. I wondered about that myself.

Why are you accessing MSFN thru a P2P client? Why Nero 3.8? :)

I am not accessing MSFN with the client - I am accessing MSFN with IE6.
I am just running the client at the same time and thought maybe that has something to do with it. I seldom run the client at all.

Thinking about what I was doing before I made the post I remembered I backspaced with IE6 rather then use the links. Old habit I cannot seem to break.

This will be my first attempt to copy this type of file to a CD and I only have NERO. Is there a better method?

First of all i would suggest you get the latest version of Nero 5.5.8.2 here

Just burn the avi file like you would an ordinary data cd.

Theres Nero 5.5.8.2, might have better features to handle this sort of thing really.

disc-at-once and nero 5582, thanks

I was concerned about trying to burn 700.81 Mb to a 700 Mb disc since the file is greater than the capacity of the disc, but I guess it will work.

Many thanks,

The capacity of a 700mb CD-R is actually 703mb, but the box/case says 700mb to round it off.

Dude :) I knew you would know.

I have always wanted to ask you this ...
Are there any tricks like the one in the past from the tutorial you created?

Thanks,

Someone else made the instructions, I asked his permission to make it illustrated and make a site on it, he said to go ahead :)

yep, I was totally devoted to learning everything revolving around Windows XP, and found out a lot. Decided to help out the community a lot with my knowledge :)

And I never spreaded any bulls***, like some idiots do out there on the net. (e.g. fake longhorn vids etc)
