can anyone help me? i cannot find the Q323183_WXP_SP2_X86_ENU.EXE update. its one of the updates in bold required by XPCREATE. the microsoft website doesn't seem to have the patch.

I have just been to http://support.microsoft.com and entered the patch number of Q323183 and it found the following details =>
Availability of Windows XP Service Pack 1 Support for Bluetooth Wireless Devices

try this url and you should be ok =>

It does state the following within it "If you are not a system or device manufacturer, contact the manufacturer of your Bluetooth wireless technology device to obtain this update." so it may mean you as a user are not able to get hold of this update.

I know what U mean, I've already been there, and U'r right. but if regular users cant download the patch, howcome its listed in bold as one of the important patches at XPCREATE?

Doesn't anybody know, why its listed at XPCREATE as recommended if its not available for regular users?

If you have Bluetooth wireless technology, the driver supplied needs this update. It is considered critical. You can get the update from the vendor (so they say ... ). If you have no Bluetooth wireless technology, this is not required. I had mistakingly listed it as required, which I have since corrected.
