Hi !
I'm looking for a valid switche to install Kaspersky 5, with its key.

I've tried with this one :

start /wait %systemdrive%\install\kaspersky5\kaspersky5.exe /s

but it doesn't work. The key is placed in "//$oem$/$docs", so it's copied during the Win XP installation.

Can somebody help me plz ?

I install kaspersky well with silent installation, but I don't know where I need to copy key file for kav5.

you dont copy it annywhere, click on "K" in the Tasbar it will open a window where you can import the key!

I know it, but i'd really like to do a perfect silent install, that's do not ask me for anything after install process... That's why i copy the key on the HDD; during a normal install, kaspersky find the key without buzzing me, so i think this is possible with a silent install.

Have you tried to do this ?

- Extract archive
- Put the .key file in the same directory than setup.exe
- Put you're up-to-date bases into a subdirectory named "Updates"
- Run the setup.exe /S /N ( S for silent and N for not reboot after installation )

That's works on kaspersky 4.5, so try it on kaspersky 5

My kaspersky 5 didn't need a reboot after install, so I guess the /N won't bee needed anymore...

KAV 5 has a non extratcablle exe file!
/S is working fine, no need for /N
maybe to make a sfx.exe of folder Bases after update of av databases, and install it unattended after install of KAV.(not tested)

Suggestion, download and install InstallRight, use that 2 configure your install, what it does is record your Install of the program & any keys u use, and saves it as a .exe and if u enable silent install & disable reboots even if required, its better then any switch cuz u dont have 2 find the switch

1. Run setup with /S
2. Make it copy your key file to the kaspersky install directory ("%systemroot%\program files\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Anti-Virus Personal\" normaly) but make it add .yek on the end. E.g. if the key file is 000679A5(2005).KEY make it copy 000679A5(2005).KEY to "%systemroot%\program files\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Anti-Virus Personal\000679A5(2005).KEY.yek"

I could install kaspersky silently but the problem is to install the licence silently.
I want be able to add a command (batch)to install the licence.
Can anyone help me out ??

It was already explained. Copy it as whatever_file_name.key.yek to your installdir and that's it. It works fine for me and many others.

shouldnt it just install the key automatically? During a normal install It has never asked me about a key file... it chooses it automatically.

but how i can silently update last antiviral bases
from my cd?
