Breaking news- Twist made an amazing discovery in 4074- some DWM effects have been enabled. Check out the video!
4074 DCE umm I mean DWM, Enabled (Kinda)

heheh.. already know:D

It is enabled by our old friend sbctl.exe ! (in C:\windows\i386)

Enable: sbctl.exe start
Disable: sbctl.exe stop

Heh, I ran those commands, totally wacked out my GeForce4 MX440. I need to buy a DX9 card! :)

Did you get a huge black border around every window where it was trying to make shadows? :)

I can verify that DWM effects work properly on the DX9 ATi cards. That big black border that you were seeing is supposed to be a partially transparent green border. It appears that an older card is not able to implement the transparency properly.

Good choice with the 9600 Pro. Excellent card, excellent value, excellent overclocker!

I know! I was excited when it worked. I love the card, I think it was a good purchase.
