LiquidSage
now if only they included USB mouse support......(it's what I have) From Win 98SE , grab the"hidusb.sys" file and copy to your floppy. Load it in config.sys, or in autoexe.bat before PQMAGIC.exe. USB mouse should then work. If it doesn't, you may need a vendor specific mouse driver. MAVERICKS CHOICE
Have you tried altering your boot sector properties in winimage before you save it. I changed mine as Armydoc suggested to win 95 dos & worked like a charm.
jrm
A question to Alanoll, Mavericks or ArmyDoc you have writting that you created theimage with Winimage what version ?Because in my version (6.10.6100) I can´t set the bootsector to Dos6.22 I have these options:MS-Dos = MS-Dos5.0Win 95 = MSwin4.0Win NT = MSwin4.0Do you have any good ideas why ???I actually posted this question for you at June 2 2004 at 04:31 am but mayby you havn´t seen it.Good idea to try to change the boot sector, but it would be nice to have a answer from you regarding the Winimage version....Thanks a lot
jrm
Sorry one more thing Mavericks.I have now in the AIO folder 5 images that I have made, the boot sector for these is like this :98SE.IMA = MSWin4.1PM8.IMA = MSWin4.0PM8T.IMA =MSDos5.0 ( only made to test if it matters with the bootsector )PODC.IMA = OpenDos7UNBXP.IMA = MSWin4.1First of all why is the boot sector different ???They all work, except PM8 and PM8T that was why I thougt that something must be wrong in the autoexec.batThanks again
Alanoll
the others work because they have a valid boot sector. once youmodify them, they won't anymore depending on how you modified it.Others, it's just the version the disk uses. Some are picky.I have 6.10.6100, but I've never actually done the boot sector thing. Mine just worked.lol.
