For some reason my media player won't open now....In my add/remove programs window it says: Windows Media Player hotfix [see wm828026 for more information]

I just downloaded the hotfix and restarted my computer but it still isn't working....grrrrr.

Locate the file setup_wm.exe and run it.

There is something a little strange about this particular Update: com_microsoft.Q828026_MSRC3326_WMP_XP_W2K_W2K3
This Update first came out some time ago, as you know. However, it again showed up in my needed Windows Critical Update list recently. I doubled checked with another drive image I have saved, and it too needed to re-download this update.
At one point I recieved a Windows Error telling me that my wmp.dll was a different version than what it needed to run the application.
I'm think Windows updated this particular Update, and that particular file.
Strange, though, that they would keep the same Update Number as before.
Any thoughts on this?
