Hi,
For my job I use a IBM ThinkPad T23 with Windows NT4 SP4 installed.
I read on the IBM Website that there is a patch to activate USB
on a Thinkpad T40 but not for the T23.
Is there anyone who knows software to activated usb in NT4?
The infrared is stuck (I'm waiting for IBM to fix it) and so I can't synchronise my pocket pc.
thanks and regards

I think i'm right in saying that NT4 doesn't support USB devices?
I know i have had problems with a flash drive on NT4, but rather than mess around with it, i had a new copy of W2k server to install... no problems since, though it doesn't help you very much, but i would upgrade to w2k if you can...
Sorry can't be more help than that.

Thanks for your reply!
I know that NT4 does not support USB.
But there are tricks to enable it, some software can emulated drivers for that.
Like I do for infrared. (Quickbeam)
But the soft I'm using, does not support USB.
Maybe I just have to wait until IBM wake's up :-)
I'll be happy when we start the XP rollout project here, but migrate 15000 computers will be a long job
And finally get rid off NT4!
