Dear Friends, may you tell me thr switch for PLUS! FOR WINDOWS XP.I searched but didnt find anythin ... ...thx

have u tried common switches?

/S
/SILENT
/VERYSILENT
/QN
/Y /N

or run the program with the /?

example: plus.exe /?

it may tell u switches

http://unattended.msfn.org has lots of into on that stuff

Doesn't the XP plus pack use MSI installer?
Just use the .msi switches.


I install it like this : "Microsoft Plus! for Windows XP.msi /QB-!"
i.e., the "/QB-!" switch.

i gave him switches for msi too :rolleyes: QN works better then QB, QB still shows the progress bar

Some people like to see the installation progress... An empty screen doesn't say much...

that is true, i just find, unattended/silent install u want it 2 be silent :rolleyes:

anyways , they both work, so choose whatever ya want :)

I used winrar to construct an sfx silent exe, condensed Plus! down to 140mb.

I called the compressed file in my install preparation cmd, which unpacked silently to the system drive.

I then added it to RunOnceEx cmd and used the QB-! switch.

Worked beautifully, and still had a lot of left over space!
