chrispark69
I am looking to find the Windows XP Print Log Files. I am using direct IP printing and I want to start to track the jobs I send. Does anyone know where these log files are or a program that does this?
gosh
Check the properties of the printer on the print server, there should be a way to log to a file, and it should say the log file there. Otherwise search microsoft's site to see exactly how to enable logging. I think by default it only logs to event viewer.-gosh
Mpak
If you're the print server, turn logging on:Control panel -> Printers -> menu File -> Server Options -> Advanced
chrispark69
I am not using a Print server. I have the printers set up for Auto IP. What I am looking for is the local log file. Does Windows XP keep any sort of log of what print jobs have been printed? Like the application log.
