I read throught the forum and the winzip site to try to get winzip to do a unattended install.Read the pages in the forum about winzip but know luck.Can some body tell me what i'm doing wrong.Here's my batch file.

you have to copy your Winzip files to your "Installation" directory, or whereever you want them to be stored. I'm not talkin about the self-extracting EXE, but the files that come out.

From a working Winzip installation, COPY all those files to your WINZIP directory on your CD, then put in your batch file the command to COPY it back to your harddrive to somehting like C:\Winzip or C:\Program Files\Winzip or wherever you want it to be placed, THEN called that winzip32.exe command with the path to your new Winzip file location

That helped alot. I tried what you sugested and that worked great know my cd is done.

what is the temporary folder that winzip extracts to when loading

or, maybe I should just ask if there is a way I could just extract the installation files

If you get the official download from the Winzip website, the files it extacts are the actual files. They are not moved during installation. They are just extracted to where you want Winzip to be. The program that "installs" later is actually the setup calling winzip32.exe's config wizard
