hi! i have an athlon xp 2500+ oc'd to 3200+ and my temp runs stagnant at 53C - sometimes 54
the default voltage is 1.65 right? is it okay if i lower it down - let say 1.50? what are the consequences? my temp lowered down to 50 when i tried it..

Over clocking will always make the processor run hotter.
If you want to reduce the voltage, you would be as well to run some diagnostic software to make sure the processor can actully cope properly.
In theory, the processor might not use the full voltage, but it would draw more power from the power supply on the motherboard, and this in turn may damage the motherboard, or the processor.
It may only be a very small voltage drop but the processor would still need a certain amout of power to run.
Hope this information helps.
