File Open dialogue - commdlg Rate Topic: -----

On a fresh XP install I dont have the nice commdllg that has the Autocomplete feature when typing file names.

If that doesnt make sense Im talking about the File->open dialogue which is shared amongst most windows apps.

Also it would be a bonus if this windows is by default much larger and in detailed view.

download regsnap (see my signature for the url)

and set it 2 record the changes

I use Sysinternals RegMon, but for the autocomplete feature its not going to help.

I think I need a newer dll version of commdlg
