anyone on this forum want to serve on #thesource, it looks like they need servers. how bout xper, with that 1mbit line the dl shure would be fast. or why dont we start our own channel, witch has been talked abut in different posts.

That could be interesting....Hu..See what everyone else thinks...The only promblem is that most take take take, never give. I have alot to give but only to those I trust, Im not into uping to band hoggers. We'll see.

hmm.. im into sharing and stuff as chris says, but not being a mug to a load of leaches and users on 56k who winge they cant upload when they bloody can, just dont upload big files .. having to do a ten minute upload cant be bad on 56k.. theyd spend 30 hours leaching given the chance, im on 56k at the mo, and ive been uploading stuff all night, ill think about it, as i get cable in .. 24hours

I'm on cable and as I have already tried to server, people get a very slow connection from me. I am getting in touch with Knology tech support so they can come out here and explain why I am not even getting into 1% of my cap. Then I'll consider serving.

Gents,
I posted my guest FTP on #thesource a couple of days ago and it got hit by 60 users in a 1 hour....and no uploads
Having said that #thesource site is down at the moment.
The name of the game is sharing but i havnt seen that yet.

no, password protected irc channel or server(so you need a password to dl from it)
