Is there a way to silently install the Klite Codec Pack (any version) and specify WHAT you want installed? I like the Full over the Mega, and am dinda happy with the current silent install, but I want to include all the audio codecs and install DirectVobsub and some of the other stuff unselected by default. I do not wish to install EVERYTHING though. Is there a way, or should I try a Lite verson of the KLCP and install VobSub and other things seperately? Or does my answer lie in another codec pack all together?

I'm trying to avoid making a custom installer if at all possible.

edit as you see fit -

install k-lite codec pack 2.25 on your computer
using the command line switch /SAVEINF="%SYSTEMDRIVE%\install.inf"

copy the inf file to the install directory for your XP cd.

and

then when you want to silent install use /SILENT /SP- /LOADINF="install.inf"

Would that work for all setups of this type? Isn't it an inno setup?

beats me.

If you don't get the results you want - use InstallRite.

Thanks for the info on this pack though. It was a major sticking point, other ther than the 12 minute hang.

This works for all Inno Setups if the author specified the components.
