Cool. Any idea if this would work in non-syspreped machines, e.g. instead of using WINNT.SIF for OEMPnPDriversPath?

if you look at the thread "SOLVED: DRIVERS FROM CD" in the drivers forum, the guy there made a program that creates the paths and whatnot, and adds it to that key. So I guess it would be possible.

Thanks, Alanoll. Another thing to look into further ... The "problem" I had with the SOLVED: ... method was that MS files were overwritten by non-MS files, and I am trying to keep "in bounds" with Microsoft. However, looking at these two threads makes me think I should be able to figure something out.
