Um, Hi, I just installed the LATEST version of StyleXP yesterday, but whenever i tried to apply a new style a message would pop up saying that inorder for me to use the style, i would have to enable StyleXP. However, when i tried to enable StyleXP, an error message would pop up say "FAILED TO COMMUNICATE WITH HELPER FILE" or somthing like that. I've reinstalled and uninstalled this program dozens of times, but received the same error. Does anyone have any comments or suggestions on what i should do?

you should just get rid of StyleXP. you don't need it. all you need to do is patch the uxtheme.dll with a "hacked" one. TGTsoft offers one on their site but they make it sort of complicated. obviously the more complicated they make it the more likely people will be to buy their (s***ty) software..

this is an older version of their uxtheme patcher. it's completely automated. just run it, reboot when it tells you to, and you'll see the theme.

oh, and uninstall StyleXP totally before you use this.
