Hi,

I use a SVCPACK.inf file the update my unattended Windows 2003 Server Enterprise Edition (Dutch) installation.

Is it possible to install the new DirectX (Version 9.0C) with the svcpack.inf file?DirectX9 can installed silent with this switch:

dxsetup.exe /silent

Can i add this line to svcpack.inf? O do i need the OPK Version of DirectX 9.0C?

Thx :)

I'm sure it will be fine in svcpack.inf. Let us know how it goes as we all learn by trial and error :)

anyway to shed some lights on how to automatically, silently, extract the package so that i can run "dxsetup.exe /silent"?

i've tried numerous methods but it will just extract but not extract+execute dxsetup.exe ....

here's what i did:

Quote

E:\DX9c.exe /q /t:e:\temp\ /c:"e:\temp\dxsetup.exe /silent"

Extract it before putting it on your CD
