Come on, no one ever had this ? can it be the PnPDrivers for Nvidia card in winnt.sif, or anything ? Any ideas what can cause such a hang ?

Please,

xtreme

Ok, after testing, the problems are the newest Nvidia drivers, 61.77_win2kxp_english.exe , the 61.66 worked fine... VERY odd...

Please don't post the same question across different threads.

That happens when your driver (*.sy_) files are corrupted somewhere. The program you use to make the ISO matters, as well - because I found UltraISO gave the problem you mention, whereas cdimageGUI did not.

The real reason could be that the ISO you made previously had a corrupted TOC.

In any case, it is interesting how you post a question at 4:47 PM, and expect an answer within 5:15 PM - it could take hours, even weeks, before someone who really knows what you are trying to do, and also knows the solution, bumps into your thread. I don't mean to offend you, just informing you of the turn-around times you could sometimes experience.
