I get the error
Installation failed. D\I386\asms. Error message
The parameter is incorrect
Fatal error
After checking the forum I see that asms error usually is a bad burn. I copied the
XPCD folder to another machine and burned it there and have the same problem.
Anyone have any ideas???

copy the asms folder onto your hard drive from an original cd again...
i had the same problem once as well and re-burning didn't fix it so i just replaced the whole asms folder and it worked again

Replaced on the CD?
I hate dust from my home. There is so many. With 2 dogs and 3 cats, my nose (and my computer) is screaming in pain...

Haaa ok remake the CD completly...
But I installed it successfully now. I switched CD drives: I replaced the CD-RW with the DVD and it installed, I think slower.
Will check if it installed right.
